VITIS (Intelligent and Sustainable Viticulture) was created with the aim of bringing technological innovation to the organic and low-impact wine sector. The project involves the development of a prototype of a dynamic system for the collection of weather data, vegetation parameters, water and nutritional status of the vine crop.

With intelligent technologies and platforms, VITIS will support winemakers distributing nutrients in the field, taking into account the spatial variability of soils.

The project, led by Azienda Vinicola Umani Ronchi, is a Financing action for operating groups and part of the PSR Marche 2014-2020.
